The Buckmore Junior Series offers competitive sprint racing for 13-16-year-olds looking to enter the world of motorsport.
The series includes two weight classes: Light for drivers between 50-65 kg and Standard for those over 65 kg.
This is the Light Weight class for drivers over 65 kg.
Races are held on the full International Circuit using 390cc karts (prior assessment required), with all safety equipment provided.
Each race meeting comprises a short practice session for every driver which is followed by three points scoring heats for each driver to determine grid positions for the finals. All drivers will compete in a final.
Participants must be between the ages of 13 and 16 to take part in this event. Prospective drivers must have previously competed in at least three of our 12-16 Rookies races or a similar junior series at another circuit, in addition to completing an assessment.
The total time at the circuit is approximately 3½hrs from your arrival to departure.

The Junior Pro class features an 8 round championship of which the best 6 scores will count. This allows for missed rounds or to drop a disappointing result. One off entries are welcome

Spectators are welcome. We have a state-of-the-art clubhouse facility featuring a Café serving hot and cold food, and an upper tier balcony which provides a dynamic view of the whole circuit.
The cafe will be open during the session for the purchase of hot and cold refreshments.
The driver to be dressed in comfortable clothing and suitable footwear, preferably trainers or similar flat shoes. All the safety equipment necessary will be provided.
We operate in all weathers so please check the weather forecast before you travel and pack a change of clothes if rain looks likely. Only in the most extreme weather conditions (i.e. ice or snow) will there be a possibility of your session being postponed or cancelled.
All payments made are non-refundable, it may be possible to transfer your booking, but it would be subject to an admin fee.
