The Buckmore Junior Series offers competitive sprint racing for 13-16 year olds looking to enter the world of racing. Race meetings take place on the full International Circuit using the 390cc karts (prior assessment required). All safety equipment is provided.
The Buckmore Junior Series offers competitive sprint racing for 13-16 year olds looking to enter the world of racing. Race meetings take place on the full International Circuit using the 390cc karts (prior assessment required). All safety equipment is provided.
Each race meeting comprises a short practice session for every driver which is followed by three points scoring heats for each driver to determine grid positions for the final. All drivers will compete in a final.
The minimum age to take part in this event is 13 with the maximum age being 16. Potential drivers must have previously competed in a minimum of three of our Rookies races or a similar junior series at another circuit. Proof of lap times or grades achieved elsewhere will be required as well as an on track assessment.
The Junior Pro Club this season features a 4 round winter championship of which the best 3 scores will count. This allows for a missed round or to drop a disappointing result.
The event is run in weight classes. Light for drivers between 50 - 65 kg and Standard for those who are 65.1kg> There are trophies for the top three in both weight classes.
The total time at the circuit is approximately 5½hrs from your arrival to departure.

12:45 - 16:45 Practice, 3 heats for each driver and a final for each driver.

Spectators are welcome. We have a state-of-the-art clubhouse facility featuring a Café serving hot and cold food, and an upper tier balcony which provides a dynamic view of the whole circuit.
The cafe will be open during the session for the purchase of hot and cold refreshments.
The driver to be dressed in comfortable clothing and suitable footwear, preferably trainers or similar flat shoes. All the safety equipment necessary will be provided.
We operate in all weathers so please check the weather forecast before you travel and pack a change of clothes if rain looks likely. Only in the most extreme weather conditions (i.e. ice or snow) will there be a possibility of your session being postponed or cancelled.
All payments made are non-refundable, it may be possible to transfer your booking, but it would be subject to an admin fee.
