The Buckmore Junior Series offers competitive sprint racing for 13-16 year olds looking to enter the world of racing. Race meetings take place on the full International Circuit using the 390cc karts (prior assessment required). All safety equipment is provided.
Each race meeting comprises a short practice session for every driver which is followed by three points scoring heats for each driver to determine grid positions for the finals. All drivers will compete in a final.
The minimum age to take part in this event is 13 with the maximum age being 16. Potential drivers must have previously competed in a minimum of three of our Rookies races or a similar junior series at another circuit.
The event is run in weight classes. Light for drivers between 50 - 65kg and Standard for those who are 65.1kg> There are trophies for the top three in all classes.
The total time at the circuit is approximately 3½hrs from your arrival to departure.

12:15 - 14:15 Practice, 3 heats for each driver and a final for each driver.
14:30 Presentation of awards
The Junior Pro class features an 8 round championship of which the best 6 scores will count. This allows for missed rounds or to drop a disappointing result. One off entries are welcome

The cafe will be open during the session for the purchase of hot and cold refreshments.
Please bring comfortable clothing and suitable footwear, preferably trainers or similar flat shoes. All the safety equipment necessary will be provided.
Please check the weather forecast before you travel and pack a change of clothes if rain looks likely. Only in the most extreme weather conditions (i.e. ice or snow) will there be a possibility of your session being postponed or cancelled.
All payments made are non-refundable, it may be possible to transfer your booking, but it would be subject to an admin fee.
