Junior Rookie Practice - Ages 12-15

Junior Rookie Practice is for drivers that have taken part (or are due to) in our Junior Rookie Races. It takes place on the full international Circuit. Each driver gets a 30 minute session, in which they can hone their skills and practice their race craft ahead of the next Junior Rookie Race Meeting.

COVID-19 Precautions

In light of the latest government guidance, we have implemented strict new precautions to ensure the safety of you and the team. Before you book your session, it is important that you read through and understand the following information.

Social distancing measures will be mandatory during your visit. The precautions we have taken will impact the way you move around Buckmore Park and there will be signage to help guide you. It is imperative that you follow social distancing measures at all times. we expect customers / drivers (to stick to government guidelines) to bring a mask to be worn when inside any of the buildings.

If you have or have had any symptoms of COVID-19 (high temperature, a new continuous cough, loss or change to your sense of smell or taste) within the last 14 days, please do not complete your booking. Follow NHS guidance

Format

In Junior Rookie Practice, each driver gets 1 x 30 minute timed karting sessions.

Participant Restrictions

The minimum age to take part is 12 and the maximum age is 16. In order to attend the Junior Rookie Practice, drivers must have completed an Intro or Advanced Kart Training lesson or be a current Junior Rookie driver.

Duration

The total time at the circuit is approximately 1hr 15 mins from your arrival to departure.

Spectators

Spectators

Spectators are permitted. As part of our COVID-19 precautions, we ask spectators to remain outside of the buildings as much as possible.

Cafeteria

The cafe will be open during the session for the purchase of hot and cold refreshments.

Dress Code

Please bring comfortable clothing and suitable footwear, preferably trainers or similar flat shoes. All the safety equipment necessary will be provided.

Weather

Please check the weather forecast before you travel and pack a change of clothes if rain looks likely. Only in the most extreme weather conditions (i.e. ice or snow) will there be a possibility of your session being postponed or cancelled.

All payments made are non-refundable, it may be possible to transfer your booking, but, it would be subject to an admin fee.
